Thirteen! Again a “Focus Ring”
The Focus Ring is a round-table discussion featuring podcasters from the Photocast Network. We try to do one every month and this was Number 13. Skype knew about the number and killed the connection for five times or so - but we managed in the end.
It was real fun to record this talk with John Arnold (PhotoWalkthrough.com), Benoît Marchal (Déclencheur), and Paul Giguere (Thoughts on Photography). We got into a real talk, not only four podcasters delivering their statements. I had a cold and was not “focused” enough - sorry for the glitches.
We discuss how to find something to shoot (when you live in the least interesting place in the world - as every photographer does), continuous (or hot) versus strobe (or flash) lighting, getting your images to the wall in an inexpensive way and composing and shooting in a square format with your digital SLR.

Focus Ring…
