At the first approaches I used Gimp for creating some DRI - hiding and revealing special parts of each layer (each containing one picture of different exposure) with masks. That's possible but it lasts forever and especially around borders of objects it's not always that clean. Do you know about an automation (an external tool or a script for Gimp) or simply a better method than the layer approach?
