Running the Server costs 20-30€ a month and this is covered by your donations up to December 2010.
Everything that is donated from now on until I put the hat on the floor again in November 2010 will be used to finance books and other stuff that goes into the show.
The GIMP project is also happy about your donation!
IBAN/BIC available per mail at info@meetthegimp.org - this way I get all the money.

A resource I’ve found quite useful is the gimpbook (http://gimpbook.com/index.html)
This is a good tutorial on how to have colorized sections of a B&W picture.

I find it easier to pick up concepts by watching your videos, Rolf. The pace and your narrative style fit the level of detail just perfect — for my tastes. I hope you never run out of enthusiasm for producing these episodes.
If you are looking for more topic suggestions, I think the layer blend modes (and paint modes) would surely be a rich source of subject matter. You have already given more insight than I have found elsewhere with your incidental mention of multiply, overlay and screen. I’d like to see more of the same approach — examples of use to achieve specific effects.
If that gets boring, the filters are probably an endless source of confusion for many; perhaps you could continue on that subject. I liked the way you did the unsharp mask, for example.
