I tried many options and editing the slideshow-file by hand or by another program called slcreator.... slcreator is great for the kenburns effects.... you get frames for the start and end of the effect... I like both, the wipes and crossfades... but crossfade is a standard effect.... it works... with wipes and wide kenbus effects youl'll get in trouble... dvd-slideshow says at this position: something like: #composite: invalid argument for option `+-3131+0': -geometry. composite: invalid argument for option `+-3654+0': -geometry. I think this is a response to spanning or zooming out of the image and then wiping to an other.... It's very interesting, that spanning or zooming out works with the crossfade transmission...
