But in fact I'll have to take a deeper look at the site, looks like it offers lot of possibilities, apart of the standard ubuntu repos I'll also check the monkeyblog.org site. Thank you Steffen and Rolf :-) Well, I randomly found a few days ago http://www.getdeb.net , where one can find the 2.4.4… but nor for feisty :-), so I decided that I was upgrading anyways.

Just download and install(like an exe file). Upgrade I wanted to do, but I can't understand why, everytime I've tried to upgrade anything went wrong and I had to reinstall... In my laptop with ubuntu that wasn't the case as I could upgrade 100% smoothely... Anyways, I've upgraded mainly because the gimp, which was 'stuck' in 2.2 for feisty; the last day someone at irc.kubuntu told me that latest packages for gimp are not going to be prepared anytime soon for feisty, because of gtk+ libraries and dependencies and all. Wasn't able to compile it, either, for the same reasons. Same for cinepaint. So, brand new 2.4.2 in my kubuntu machine!
